#구축사용설명서 My house is a 27-year-old apartment complex. 🥹 We had a quick remodel and moved in late last year. The move was extremely tight, and the remodeling budget was limited, so we just did the bare essentials. ✔️Kitchen The kitchen was very cramped due to the old layout. So, we expanded the L-shaped kitchen into a ㄷ-shaped one, moved the refrigerator out onto the balcony, and created a small dining area! However, if your home is older and uninsulated, putting your refrigerator on the veranda can affect its lifespan, so please keep that in mind. While building the U-shaped sink, I blocked it with a partition wall and added glass bricks to make it feel even a little less cramped. It's a different feel from glass blocks, but it's charming. I often take photos of this partition wall space😆 What I love about the partition wall is that the kitchen sink isn't visible from the living room. 🤭 It makes it easier to be a little lazy. ✔️Living Room I expanded the living room. However, the downside of building an extension is that ☝️the wing walls, which are load-bearing walls on both sides, couldn't be removed, and woodworking there would have added to the budget. 😭 I created a workspace based on the wing wall. I placed a book shelf inside the wing wall, and I installed lighting on the back of the book shelf myself. I'm proud that it's become a more cozy and useful space. It's an old apartment, but I'm giving it a new lease of life. If you decorate it nicely, you'll create your own wonderful space.
