#리모델링성공기 As you can see in the last photo, the alpha room was originally located right next to the kitchen. This made the kitchen feel small and cramped. After deciding to remove all the walls in the alpha room, I realized that some of those walls were load-bearing walls, which was a huge headache. However, after meeting with a talented contractor, I found a solution. We divided the space into a pantry on the left side of the load-bearing wall and a kitchen on the right. We placed a large, horizontal ceramic island in front of the wall. We installed a hidden door on the left side of the island to create the illusion of a wall, and a home bar was installed in front of it. We designed the area to the right of the island as a kitchen with a sink and used it as a cooking area. This not only makes the kitchen feel more spacious, but also creates a large pantry, giving us tons of storage space. This allows us to organize all the clutter in the pantry, allowing us to maintain a minimalist interior. The flow from the living room to the kitchen and pantry has also become much more efficient.
