#Entrance Remodeling Tips! For small entryways, keeping everything neat and tidy is essential. However, for completeness and ease of maintenance, we recommend film application over wallpaper. In this particular project, a large electrical distribution box is located to the left of the shoe cabinet visible straight ahead. To conceal it with a vertical frame and alleviate the cramped feeling, we used a wooden base cabinet and lighting to create a focal point. If we had used wallpaper above the shoe cabinet, it would have been somewhat simple, but the application of a travertine-patterned film has elevated the sense of luxury! ✔️ You must adjust the size to ensure the full sheet fits, taking the vertical pattern of the film into account. Since the entryway is where various finishing materials meet, meticulous planning and tonal balance are crucial before construction. It goes without saying that the first impression of a home is everything. Haha. 📍Points to check during construction: ▪️ Stepping stone expansion (pushing it slightly toward the hallway. Ensure there is at least enough space for comfortable footing; depending on the site conditions, a minimum of 400mm is required). ▪️ If there is a threshold under the shoe cabinet: Since the threshold depth is often ambiguous, you must either break it down (due to noise issues) to match the floor level, or create a step (adjusting the depth so it doesn't protrude or pushing it in slightly) to allow shoes to be placed on it. ▪️ Flooring: Entrance tiles | Hallway flooring meeting Check the flooring height and adjust the stepping stone height accordingly!
