1️⃣ Which space did you remodel and how? ✔️Electrical work, including lighting and ceiling fans We renovated the entire house, focusing on downlights and indirect lighting, as shown in the photos. While 3-inch downlights are common, ours were mostly 2-inch, with 1.5-inch lights above the sofa and refrigerator. Because our space isn't large, we wanted simple, understated lighting, like a starry sky. We also wanted the sofa to be comfortable and not irritating to the eyes, as we spend most of our time lying down. ✔️Filming the lower cabinets The lower cabinets under the kitchen sink and island were a very dark dark brown, which made the house look dark, so we used white film. The film alone had a great effect, brightening the overall feel. ✔️Installing built-in cabinets Since the master bedroom doesn't have a walk-in closet, storage was particularly limited. So, we installed built-in cabinets along an entire wall and used the master bedroom as a study. The bedroom is a small room filled with a family bed, making it a cozy space for my young children to sleep in. ✔️Sink and Faucet Replacement I wasn't satisfied with the standard kitchen accessories, so I worried about replacing them, but ultimately replaced them with a square sink and a gooseneck faucet. The kitchen is a woman's space and a dream. I believe you should do whatever you want. 2️⃣ After living here, what's the one decision you're truly proud of? ✔️Lighting Gourmet After living here for a year, I'm especially satisfied with the lighting. The diverse indirect lighting creates a unique atmosphere in each space, and it's always beautiful. For those concerned about lighting when installing ceiling fans, rail-line lighting can also be an option. When you want a subtle touch, just turn on the downlights. When you need brighter light, just turn on the line lighting for a brighter look. ✔️Even though the floor space is small, it makes the most of the space. The couple, who have a lot of books and a lot of work to do, created a study with built-in closets, while the bedroom was transformed into a family room where they can sleep soundly with their children.
