I started this DIY project because my white kitchen was boring! The floor was so unattractive, so I laid down a checkerboard-patterned PVC mat myself. I initially cut it to 200x300 and laid it in the living room, but later it all fell apart. I cut it myself to fit the kitchen. It was a real struggle because my kitchen isn't perfectly square. I thought it wouldn't be difficult, but it was surprisingly challenging. But I'm so happy with the result! 🙊🤎 (Before photos at the end~) I also applied vintage brick-colored sheeting to the walls. This was easier and simpler than I thought. I highly recommend this DIY project!
