We purchased the house with a minus option, so we had to handle everything from the plumbing to the interior design. 1. What spaces did you remodel and how did you do it? Before the remodel, the house was built only up to the cement level, so we chose everything ourselves, from the bathroom fixtures to the wallpaper. The advantage is the freedom to change the structure and materials as we see fit. To create a more open layout in the living room, which faces the kitchen, we built an island table in the middle. 2. After living there, please tell us about a decision you made that you think was a great decision. We removed the upper cabinets and installed sturdy wooden shelves. I hated the cramped feel of a 20-pyeong kitchen, and I wanted to keep my frequently used groceries and cups readily available, so I decided to build a shelf. I'm very satisfied with this interior design element, as it's become a memorable feature of our home. 📌 I'll also explain the construction methods I used to create a more open feel.
