While maintaining the overall layout, I focused on improving the flow and storage in the kitchen. I moved the sliding storage cabinet under the induction range to the side, and remodeled the lower cabinet to incorporate a built-in dishwasher. I also repurposed the existing display cabinet next to the refrigerator, moving it beyond its storage-focused purpose to create a home bar. By creating a space for frequently used coffee supplies and a quick cup of coffee, I created another atmospheric corner in the kitchen. I added indirect lighting without being overly aggressive. I added indirect lighting along the ceiling and above the furniture, creating a soft, warm glow throughout the kitchen. I balanced the black tones so they wouldn't feel cluttered. 2️⃣ What decision have you made that you're truly proud of? My most satisfying decision was 👉 rearranging the layout and lighting to fit the way I use the kitchen. By installing a built-in dishwasher under the induction range and adjusting the storage arrangements, the flow from cooking to cleaning up became much more natural. For lighting, I used the natural lighting when cooking and eating, and used indirect lighting during other times, creating a soft, comfortable atmosphere in the black-toned kitchen. In the evenings, I use the kitchen as a mood space. Also, thanks to the home bar space next to the refrigerator, I've naturally increased the amount of time I spend drinking coffee or enjoying a quick drink. Even without major changes, simply reorganizing the space around my most frequently used areas has made a huge difference in my kitchen satisfaction.
