The real reason my entryway looks so clean is because I'm using the space accordingly. Leaving it empty felt empty, but putting something in it felt awkward, so I installed a modern-design recycling bin. Its clean, cabinet-like design made perfect use of the dead space. Placing it right in front of the doorway made it so I could immediately throw away the trash as soon as I saw it, so I didn't procrastinate on recycling.
