You might wonder why vinyl is so relevant in this streaming age, but the allure of analog is far greater than you might think. I really enjoy the time I get to focus entirely on the music, despite the manual controls. Many people think vinyl is difficult and complicated, but it's actually quite easy to get started with, even in small spaces. Today, I'd like to share my current vinyl entry-level setup. I use an Audio-Technica SoundBurger. It's a rechargeable wireless player, so there's no need for cables, and its compact size means it doesn't take up much space. It connects instantly to any speaker in your home via Bluetooth, and on days when you want to listen more intently, just connect it to a headset, 🎧 and lift the tonearm! Of course, it might lack stability compared to a turntable with a platter (rotating plate), but I'm quite satisfied with it as a beginner. Above all, the ability to set it up wherever I want is a huge advantage for me, living in a small house. Vinyl records come in a variety of colors and patterns, making them fun to look at. Finding your favorite artist's LP is like a little treasure hunt! (I recently snagged a Marronnier LP of "Cocktail Love" in excellent condition from a used car lot. 😮) Getting started with LPs isn't as difficult as you think, is it?
