#리모델링성공기 #콘수프기록집 Anyone who's ever remodeled will definitely relate. The countless hours spent reviewing blueprints, touching samples, and poring over photos every night 🕰️ The space we completed after all that thoughtfulness wasn't just a home; it was a reflection of our lifestyle and tastes. Four years into our marriage, after much deliberation, we finally bought our own home. It was a newly built apartment, but the overall feel was a bit lacking. Since we were going to live in it for a long time anyway, we decided to give it a proper makeover, so we opted for a full remodel. ◡̈ Q1. What spaces did you remodel and how did you do it? Our house is approximately 100 square feet (30 pyeong), with a narrow living room and a wide, vertically elongated living room. I chose this house because I was captivated by its spacious feel, but when I thought about my life, I was disappointed that the kitchen felt small and cramped compared to the living room. 🥲 So, the biggest change in our remodeling was centered around the kitchen. We boldly removed the existing pantry, and demolished the front of the kitchen, which was originally a U-shaped layout, to create a fully open kitchen with a refrigerator and an open island. From the outside, the main kitchen appears clean, and when you open the partition wall, which is designed like a hidden door, you'll find a sub-kitchen that utilizes the existing kitchen space. 👩🏻🍳 We've hidden appliances and storage items we don't want to see in the back, keeping the front kitchen always organized. We were worried that removing the pantry would reduce storage, but the flow and space utilization have become much more efficient, and our storage capacity has actually increased. Feeling ✨ This is one of the most satisfying changes I've ever experienced🤍 Q2. After living here, I can't help but think, "This was a really good decision." If I had to pick the best decision I made, it would be: Restructuring the home to fit my lifestyle, installing the wallpaper, and installing the hidden door. ◡̈ By slightly modifying the layout to suit my lifestyle, the house feels much more spacious, and adding the wallpaper and hidden door made the space feel more organized and neat. 🤎 The tone-on-tone color of the wallpaper, in particular, created a natural flow within the space. 🏠 By using only two main colors, one sub-color, and one accent color, I achieved a balance that wasn't overpowering or overwhelming. Thanks to this, the entire house feels like a unified flow. The wallpaper installation is also highly satisfying in terms of maintenance. ᐟ The wallpaper is more durable than wallpaper, making maintenance much easier. Considering the current atmosphere, I think this choice fits perfectly. If I were to remodel again, I would definitely choose this combination again. 🫶🏻 —————————————————— I felt that remodeling wasn't simply about decorating, but rather a process of defining how I wanted to live in a given space. The more thought I put into it, the more deeply and long-lastingly satisfied I felt with the result. If you're considering remodeling, carefully consider the spatial structure, flow, and color combinations to suit your lifestyle. ᐟ Small choices can completely transform the impression of your home.
