#리모델링성공기 Even within budget, space, and time constraints, I wanted to create a home that exudes a certain charm. 🤍 1. How did you remodel each space? I remodeled a 100-square-foot (30 pyeong) apartment from the 1990s in a month. Due to time and budget constraints, I couldn't do everything I wanted, but I set my sights on "a home I'll live in for a long time / white / basic but extraordinary." After getting married and renting a house, this was my third home, and I finally bought my own. I focused on the interior and furniture, focusing on basic sash windows, extensions, and reasonable cost-effectiveness. While the overall feel was similar, I wanted to create distinct designs for the master bathroom and kitchen. Photo 1 - The master bathroom, given its limited space, was designed to reflect my own personal style. I proposed a design myself. However, because the company focused on cost-effectiveness, I couldn't fully convey the details I wanted. So, I ended up researching each detail myself. Mosaic tiles are also popular when searching, but they said they couldn't provide samples, so I went to the Hanam showroom and Nonhyeon-dong Tile Street to get samples myself. I ordered everything myself, including the mirror, wall lights, faucet, cleaning cloths, towel rack, sink, and accessories, and had them install them. It was stressful to keep making ordering mistakes and returning items, but after completing the project, I've grown to love the space even more. 🥹 Photos 2, 3, and 4 - I don't cook much in the kitchen, but I really wanted to try a "ㄷ" layout and an open kitchen. I couldn't find any tiles I liked among the vendor samples, so I went out and selected them myself. I was told it would be difficult because of the long and narrow layout, but I looked for examples similar to ours, and simulated the kitchen layout on the IKEA website. I also ordered the wall shelves myself and had them install them. While the proportions are a bit off, I'm very satisfied overall. I'd like to add more shelves, but I'm holding off for now to capture the beauty of the empty space. 😊 2. What's a decision you've made that you've finally decided is a good one? Photo 5 - At the contractor's suggestion, instead of drilling into the entryway wall next to the living room sofa, I installed a Rarelow system shelf, which I've wanted to do for years but couldn't because I'm renting. The living room has a popular white wall and hardwood floor combination these days, but the shelf completely transformed the atmosphere, making my home feel like a cafe. I'm really happy with it. I'm not sure about other interior design companies, but if you want something, I think the best way is to research and do the legwork yourself. #MosaicTile #욕실인테리어 #안방욕실 #화장실 #베이지인테리어 #포인트컬러 #거울
