The living room isn't very spacious, so I initially had a lot of concerns. So, I decided to place the furniture as close to the walls as possible, and to keep the flow of traffic clear. Using shelves, I kept frequently used items within easy reach, and organized them so they didn't look cluttered. The overall tone was calm, but the yellow sofa and colorful rug added accents, making the space feel comfortable even in a small space.
