- Turning a single-person study into a couple's study: I thought about a desk layout that a couple could share. At first, I tried arranging the desks facing each other, but it didn't work out because there wasn't enough chair space. After much thought, I decided to try a zigzag arrangement. It secured chair space and gave us a decent amount of privacy, which I'm happy with.
