A bedroom is a place to rest, recover, and be most comfortable. So, in my opinion... ambiance over function. I chose a side table from the same brand and color as my bed. The price was a bit steep, to be honest. But once I put it there, it was instantly worth it. The colors flow naturally, and the space feels much more stable. It even feels like a hotel bedroom.
