I moved into another small studio apartment, haha. What's the secret to success in a studio apartment? What's the secret to success? I think it's about separating the space :) I always keep the bed separate, and use the rest of the space as a living room. Even lying in bed, I feel a sense of isolation and security. I put a basket on the bookshelf, and I store my frequently worn knits there. I didn't want the smell to seep in, so I covered it lightly with a cloth. It's cold in the winter, so I put up some cold-weather curtains, but they were ugly (..), so I layered some pretty chiffon on top. The steel support was also really ugly (..), so I covered it with a pretty cloth and placed a hanging plant to hide it. Please cover all the unsightly kitchen appliances, medicine bottles, boiler remote controls, and other distracting elements with pretty cloth. Haha.
