#리모델링성공기 A Small Kitchen, a Successful Remodeling Story: Never Giving Up and Pondering Through ✨ The kitchen was definitely the most challenging space during the remodel. 🤔 Because the kitchen isn't spacious, I spent a lot of time thinking about how to use this space most efficiently. First, I didn't want to put the refrigerator in the living room, so I placed it next to the sink and installed an island to match. This gave me a lot more prep space, and since the island is open, I can chat with my husband or watch TV while cooking, which is incredibly satisfying. In the before photo, you can see a small piece of furniture awkwardly placed in front of the load-bearing wall. That's where the boiler control is. Considering how to neatly hide it, I designed this space as an extension of the island and added a storage unit inside to hide the boiler control. I installed push-pull doors to keep the exterior clean, and the interior is used as a cleaning tool cabinet, ensuring practicality. It feels like there's no wasted space. 👀 The island wasn't left empty either. We pre-planned it to accommodate a dishwasher, oven, and rice cooker. This way, the kitchen appliances aren't visible, creating a much more organized overall impression. The flow of movement is seamless, making it easier to use! We focused on maximizing the use of our small kitchen.
