#리모델링성공기 1. What space did you remodel and how did you remodel it? I remodeled a 100-square-foot (30-pyeong) apartment. In the living room, I cleaned up the walls by installing a system air conditioner and a semi-recessed TV. I added a ceiling fan and finished the ceiling with a molding-free finish to make the space feel more spacious. The wallpaper was a diamond-paved white that matched the overall tone. To avoid a cold appearance, I mixed neutral white and warm-toned lighting to create a warm atmosphere. Since restructuring the kitchen was difficult, I planned it within the existing layout, focusing on the flow of movement. I added a two-tone accent to the sink frame with color and added IKEA Sørbün handles for added detail. Where storage was lacking, I built a separate drawer cabinet to compensate. For the bathroom, I aimed for an easy-to-clean space. I used 600-square tiles throughout, with European tiles accenting one wall. While the price was a bit steep, I was satisfied with both the maintenance and the design. 2. What decision did you make that you've finally decided to live in? My favorite feature in the living room is the arched shelf. Without major structural changes, I can add a pop of color and change the mood with objects, making it perfect for changing the look depending on the season or my mood. In the kitchen, the drawer cabinet was the best choice. It filled in the storage gaps, and the upper shelf for small appliances made moving around much easier. The bathroom was a bit pricey, but ultimately, I'm most satisfied with the tile choice. It's easy to clean and doesn't look dated over time, making it one of the best choices I made during the entire remodel.
