This furniture was created entirely with the tastes and sensibilities of my wife (Wooddy Y) and me. In these days, when beautiful and high-quality furniture abounds, I wanted to step aside from trends and fads and create one-of-a-kind furniture. In my childhood, the old and the new coexisted naturally. I saw scenes where wooden and aluminum windows, Western curves and traditional Korean wooden furniture were all in one space. Now that I'm an adult, I wanted to capture the fragments of those fading memories through furniture. Perhaps the "ours" I envision is not a single, unique identity, but rather a multilayered interweaving of different cultures and times.
