Paint vs. Sheet Metal Restoreable interior => Sheet metal wins hands down⭐️ ▪️If you want a clean look, use sheet metal. ▫️If you prefer a rough, yet beautiful color, paint. (Note that some paints peel!) I was going to paint an old Stuba, but I finally decided to use sheet metal for the first time in a while :) Sheet metal creates a clean, neat look, so I recommend sheet metal over paint for this type of drawer! 1. It's essential to completely remove any dust from the area where you plan to apply sheet metal. 2. Make sure it's completely dry. 3. Cut the sheet metal, leaving 2-3cm of space on each side. 4. I recommend using a knife rather than scissors. 5. When using a spatula, start from the center and work your way out. 6. Remove any air pockets and reapply.
