A meal for me, exhausted from parenting. Soothing a crying baby every two hours and taking care of Mommy, I've lost my appetite, and I've only managed to eat one meal a day ( •̥ ̫ •̥ ) My husband, who sang about ordering brunch this morning, finally fulfilled his promise in the evening. I decided to treat our exhausted selves, so I prepared a table, transferring the dishes to pretty plates. Black and white plates made with Villeroy & Boch Manufacture Lock, a gourmet staple in our family. 🍴 I was able to create a restaurant-like dining experience with just these pretty plates. Taste is important for food, but I also think presenting it in a way that makes it look delicious is crucial. Just serving food in my favorite dishes feels like a treat to myself, making mealtimes a healing experience.
