Have you heard of the game "The Sims"? During one of my school vacations, I sat down with a banana milk and played a ton of Sims. You build houses, place characters in them, assign them chores, and even send them to work... It's a life simulation game, but I rarely played anything else. I just built houses, furnished them, and moved them around. Even then, I was obsessed with choosing the prettiest furniture and layouts. Looking back, it might have been that way already. Right after I started college, we moved to a slightly larger house, and there were so many things to choose from: built-in closets in the bedroom, bathroom tiles, kitchen sinks, and so on. My mom always took me with her, helping me choose, and sometimes even asking for my opinion before making a decision. The Hanssem kitchen cabinets I chose at my parents' house back then are still beautiful and unsettling. Actually, I think I was born with a natural affinity for aesthetics. When I was a student, my art teacher even asked me why I wasn't considering an arts degree. At the time, I assumed everyone else was doing this, so I just buried myself in the shallow end. But eventually, I found myself in the design field, which is what I'm currently doing. In a way, all of these processes seem to have contributed to the way I decorate my home. There's no better way to love yourself than to know what you like. I believe that's the greatest interior design know-how. I believe most of the creators of Today's House share this sentiment. We cherish ourselves, our aesthetic, our home, and everything that breathes within it. Oh, the Oh! Dream. © 2026 oh_identity_design.
