This is our eldest's precious hideaway, a room filled with forest animals. ๐ฟ๏ธ๐ฟ The most important part was the wallpaper on two sides. The animal pattern is flashy but not overly flashy, and I wanted my child to feel like they're playing in the forest when they're in the room. Another fun part of this room is the veranda! ๐ก I wanted it to function as a playroom, so I chose the same tiles as the main room, but changed the colors to create a cute checkerboard style. I reupholstered the existing built-in closet and added a cute hot air balloon handle. ๐ Actually, I planned to have separate sleeping arrangements when we moved in, but I still vividly remember how from day one, he would fall asleep on his own, saying, "This is my room!" Now, he's a migratory bird, going back and forth between Mom and Dad's rooms depending on his mood. ๐ After work, 11 p.m. ๐ Whenever I tidy up my child's room, I wonder about the beautiful dreams he's having in this space. What do you consider most important when decorating a child's room?
