There are many beautiful shades of blue in the world, but blue houses are rare💙 "If I'm building a house, it has to be white!" I used to say, but my husband insisted(?) on a deep blue exterior. Living here, I realized it was a brilliant choice. 🏡 Why I love a deep blue exterior 1️⃣ Green plants in spring, summer, and fall, and white snow in winter... The contrast is striking! 2️⃣ Rainwater stains, the biggest enemy of bright exteriors, are barely visible on blue! (There's still a downside... I guess I'll have to live with it a bit longer to find out 😅) Blue is the accent color for my home, without hesitation!
