A dinner full of the scent of the sea Squid sashimi, kelp wrap, and gochujang (red pepper paste) I don't blanch the squid sashimi in water. Instead, I microwave it in a small container with a little water. I blanch it for 5-6 minutes, then slice it into whole squid strips. I hope the squid retains its savory flavor. I also make the gochujang (red pepper paste) myself. I like it a little thicker.
