Today, I'd like to share my styling tips that made it feel much more spacious and cozy. ✔️ TIP 1. Furniture Proportion for Stability To maximize the benefits of a home with a high ceiling, I focused on the "proportion" of the furniture. Tall furniture can obstruct the view, making the space feel narrow. That's why we chose sofas and lounge chairs with low backs and a low center of gravity. Thanks to these low furniture, which I chose after much deliberation, the ceiling appears much further away, creating a refreshingly open feel in the space! ✔️ TIP 2. Create a Space with Lighting Rather than brightening the living room with a single main light, I used multiple indirect lights to create a sense of depth. • Point Lighting: I used eye-catching object lighting, like the Flos, to create a focal point. • Warm Texture: I added Akari lighting from Vitra to create a unique, subtle and refined atmosphere.
