The studio apartment entryway layout I finally settled on 🧺 After all the twists and turns, I think this layout is the best. When I moved in, the shoe cabinet door was right in front of me when I opened the front door. The furniture felt a bit stuffy as soon as I entered the house. So I rotated it 90 degrees, and above the shoe cabinet, inevitably(?), there's a microwave that's lost its place. It feels like the perfect location, without any distractions. The dryer is right in front of the bathroom, right next to the entrance, so I used the exhaust pipe to run it into the bathroom. My favorite part is the laundry basket on a pretty cloth. Hehe. The curtains do a great job of blocking the drafts that inevitably come in. Having them makes a huge difference. In the winter, a single thin curtain isn't enough, so I bought two thick blackout curtains from Daiso and hung them up.
