A big decision for my baby due in April! A floor mat 👏🏻 Everyone worries about baby mats due to safety concerns and noise between floors. I, too, started researching floor mats when I first found out I was pregnant. There were so many things to consider, including whether to use a foldable mat or a floor mat, and if installing, whether to do it myself or get professional help. 🥲 After much deliberation, I finally decided on the Papaforms floor mat. I first learned about Papaforms thanks to a senior colleague at work. While the colors and sizes were different, the customer was highly satisfied with the installation, and I trusted them because they sent me samples and compared them directly. I then contacted Papaforms directly for a quote. They quickly provided me with estimates based on square footage and size, and their friendly, real-time consultation allowed me to quickly decide and proceed. Shipping and returns were free! While other places charge shipping or send small pieces instead of the originals, allowing you to compare colors to suit your home, Papaforms provided full-size samples, allowing you to place them, slide them around, and even place chairs on them to assess their resilience and aesthetics. (Oh, and you can even get a small discount if you return the product and sign a contract at the same time!) I ultimately decided on the "800 Moonlight Stone Non-Slip." I considered the 1200 size, but I was so satisfied with the 800 size that I chose this one. (It also saved me a lot of money.) The consultant gave me a date for the installation and we coordinated accordingly. In my case, three professionals visited, and since I only worked on the living room, it only took about an hour to an hour and a half. (The time required will likely vary significantly depending on the house structure, existing furniture, and luggage.) Additionally, I requested refurbished parts for the ends. They refurbished the living room sash and another side with refurbished parts. They didn't use the defective parts, but rather carved them beautifully, resulting in a flawless (?!) installation. They even provided pieces of matting underneath the furniture to minimize marks.👍🏻 Actually, there's no right answer for baby mats. However, I'm a son, and one of the reasons we sold this house was because I wanted my future baby to be able to move around more comfortably in the large living room, so we decided on this mat. Thanks to the friendly installers and consultants who explained everything from start to finish, I was able to welcome my baby with satisfaction.
