#도전집들이 #FTC21기이야기 Hello 😊 This is the home of a newlywed couple in their second year of marriage. When we were preparing for our wedding and looking for a new home, our criteria were very clear: a single-family home, not an apartment, and definitely one with a terrace. Living in the city, yet still being able to enjoy the outdoors was a long-held dream of ours. Then, by chance, we stumbled upon our current home. It's a 50-year-old single-family home, but it had already been remodeled. Best of all, it boasts a view of the Han River and a terrace. So, we decided to keep the original structure and finishes and fill it with furniture that reflects our personal tastes. When designing the living room, the sofa was the most important consideration. Since it's the focal point of the space, we didn't want to make a quick decision. After comparing several sofas, we settled on Cassina's Maralunga sofa as the focal point, and the vintage sofa table added a touch of weight. Instead of the usual TV stand, I installed an Artek bench, and chose Samsung The Frame TV, which I use as a picture frame during the day. I especially like the fact that the screen only turns on when needed, so it doesn't detract from the living room's atmosphere. The bedroom was designed to be minimalist, stripping away unnecessary elements to maximize relaxation. I've long dreamed of a low-rise wooden frame, and added rustling hotel bedding, making the end of each day even more special. It's not fancy, but it's a space I'm deeply satisfied with every night. The kitchen is accented with an Artek table. While the space itself isn't large, a single piece of furniture really brings a distinct atmosphere. The terrace, directly connected to the kitchen, was one of the biggest reasons I chose this house. The large, floor-to-ceiling windows provide direct access, and on a nice day, simply opening the door completely transforms the atmosphere of the house. Even though it's in the city, it offers a sense of spaciousness unique to a single-family home. This is our living space, a remodeled single-family home, where we've been gradually adding to our tastes and lifestyle. We're still slowly filling it, but it's a home we're quite satisfied with. Please take a look around 😊
