Bringing in the 《Furniture Town》GT601 Solid Wood Sliding Bed It started out as a bare white room. Now, with a solid wood sliding bed, a Billy bookshelf, and a bedside table, this small room is filled with furniture. The two-tiered sliding bed is 🛌 《Furniture Town 601 Solid Wood Sliding Bed》 The desk above the bed is 《Lima Solid Wood Bed Sofa Side Table》 I recommend this combination! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The kids' bedroom is the smallest room in our house, but despite its small size, it's packed full of space. ============================= (This is an old feed post, so please take it easy~ ^ ^) We're a family of five, raising three daughters. Because they're all so close together, it was a whirlwind of a time. I was raising three babies at the same time: a 4-year-old, a 2-year-old, and a 1-year-old. 🤣 A toddler... a crawler... A baby crying for milk... all three. 😂 I don't know how those precious, precious times flew by. The babies have grown so quickly, and are now 11, 9, and 7 years old. When the youngest starts elementary school in March, I'll soon be a mom of three elementary school children. My house is a 30-pyeong (approximately 100 square meters) apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. This apartment is so old that there's even talk of reconstruction going around. (There's a stream right in front of the apartment, and egrets are always flying around there. Magpies can be seen every day, and schools of carp live in the shallow stream. Sometimes, raccoons even make an appearance. It's a quiet apartment near a subway station, a nice place to live.) This eco-friendly atmosphere has been a daily source of healing, even while raising three children. However, as the children grow, I've begun to yearn for a more spacious and clean new building. That's not currently feasible, so... ^^ I've started decorating this new apartment to make it a better place to live. I'm on a fun adventure, using curtains and partition walls to separate spaces and create smaller spaces. :)♥︎ Our house doesn't have a separate children's room. It's divided into a study room with three desks and a bedroom with a two-tiered sliding bed. The room you see in the photo is the smallest in our house. In this small room, we have a two-tiered sliding bed, and the lower bunk bed slides out. We push it out during the day and pull it out only when it's time to sleep, maximizing the space. We have a sturdy wooden bed that takes up the entire room, but we have a Billy bookshelf in the spare space, storing lots of books. Someday, we'll have to get rid of this bed, but it's not ready yet. We're using it so well! The wooden bed is incredibly sturdy, so even I, an adult, can sleep on it with my child. There's a small desk in the space between the bed and the Billy bookshelf. We keep it in a corner of the room, and when it's time to sleep, the kids bring the desk to the bedside, read, and then fall asleep. I think this furniture arrangement is perfect for fostering a "bedtime reading habit." Actually, I was wondering how to maximize this small room. I put a lot of thought into choosing the bed. The Billy bookshelf, at 28cm, is the perfect space-saving solution. I love how it creates a clean, French vibe. ^ ^ :)♥︎ ============================== I bought an IKEA Billy bookshelf! Since the IKEA Gwangmyeong branch is close to my house, I picked it up myself to save on shipping costs~ (My husband's big win~ 🥰) It's an order-to-pay-to-pick-up system. Once you place your order and complete payment, your own order is placed, and you can pick it up with the items still in your cart~! We waited for the Billy bookshelf just like we waited for our burger order, checking the number and then picking it up. It was so convenient because we just had to load it into our car in its original condition. It was a fun first experience(?). (If you're buying a smaller IKEA product, I recommend picking it up yourself to save on shipping costs~♡) There were two short Billy bookshelves in the kids' bedroom, so I added a tall 40cm shelf and placed it on either side. With just this, not only did they store a ton of books, but their room also looks beautiful~ (Oh, what's with this Billy mood! 😍) The kids were so pretty, they even asked me, "Isn't it pretty?" And when my husband saw it, he said he didn't know it would be this pretty... It exceeded his expectations... haha Thanks for your hard work, he said you did it all by yourself, and he was amazing 👍🏻 ❤️ I received tons of compliments today thanks to Billy.
