This is a review of a product I received through the Curator Program, personally used, and styled. My child is about to enter elementary school, so I wanted to declutter his room a bit. While looking for a bed, I purchased the Zinus Lumi storage bed frame and mattress. Initially, I was worried that the bed would make the room feel smaller, but once it was installed, I realized the storage space actually looked cleaner thanks to the organized design. The frame is a trolley-style drawer structure, so it's not fixed to a rail, but rather pulls out completely. This is surprisingly convenient. Even when placed against the wall, the drawers are easy to open, and cleaning is a breeze, making maintenance much easier. Currently, I store seasonal bedding, toys, and rarely-used educational materials. The space under the bed is practically a storage closet, which has helped me reduce the number of storage boxes I had in one corner of the room. The bright colors keep the child's room from feeling cramped, and despite being a drawer-style bed, the clean exterior blends well with the interior. I also appreciated the professional delivery and installation, which meant I could use it right away without any assembly worries. The mattress topper is removable, making maintenance a breeze. The cover can be removed and washed, and the topper can be used separately, making it practical. It's soft and fluffy when you lie down, but it doesn't feel like it's going to collapse easily. The independent pocket spring structure minimizes movement, making it comfortable to sleep with your child. Just changing the bed makes the room feel much more organized, and my child is thrilled to have his or her own bed, so I'm very satisfied.
