My kitchen is L-shaped. The floor plan is a bit unusual, and it feels like they had to fit the kitchen in somehow, lol. I think they removed the lower cabinets at the very end to create a passageway. (The sadness of a small house.) The refrigerator's location is practically fixed. Still, the cooking space isn't too cramped, and the sink is quite large, so I'm quite satisfied. If I had the chance, I'd like to upgrade to a dual-burner induction range to expand the cooking space even more. I put the microwave, which I use frequently, in the corner above the countertop, and the rice cooker and other items I don't use often on a separate shelf next to the refrigerator. I've grouped my most frequently used containers in the center upper cabinet, making them easily accessible whenever needed.
