An Easy Way to Cover Your Air Conditioner! One of the most unsightly appliances is the air conditioner. I wanted to make the most of the space in front of the air conditioner during the off-season, so I installed a curtain. I fixed a curtain rod to the ceiling and hung the curtain. When the air conditioner is in use, I tied the curtain up, and when not in use, I covered it with the curtain. During the off-season, I use the space in front of the air conditioner for various purposes, and in the summer, I leave it empty.
