#주방레이아웃 How did I decorate a narrow 26-pyeong (approximately 800,000 sq ft) kitchen? Remodeling Story I recently completed a remodel of a 15-year-old 26-pyeong (approximately 800,000 sq ft) apartment with a limited budget of 30 million won. ☑️What's the kitchen layout? Our house, like most apartments, had a very long and narrow kitchen. The existing L-shaped kitchen, which blocked the living room and kitchen, only made the space feel more cramped. I wanted a home that felt spacious and expansive, so I completely redesigned the layout, removing the L-shaped kitchen that obscured the living room and creating a bright, open "ㅡ"-shaped kitchen. ☑️What furniture materials did you use? For the lower and upper cabinets, which are the centerpiece of the kitchen, I chose "Hansol Fog Gray," a popular color in interior design cafes these days. ✔ Hansol Fog Gray? It's a subtle gray tone that's not too cold, adding a touch of class to the white interior. The matte texture, especially the matte finish, complements our wallpaper (Vesti Lime Plaster Sand Ivory) perfectly. (It's gray, but it actually gives the house a very warm feel!) ✔ 12mm Faux Marble Countertop Goodbye to those thick countertops of the past! The 12mm slim countertop gives the kitchen a much cleaner, more modern feel. I chose a cream-toned countertop, and the tiles and fog gray blend seamlessly, creating a perfect match. ☑️ Sink Extension This is the "masterstroke" I'm most satisfied with in this kitchen. Small kitchens always lack cooking space, right? That's why I made a special request to the contractor when installing the sink. Don't throw away the remaining faux marble from the sink hole. Turn it into a cover! Re-processing the faux marble can be a hassle, but the contractor was very helpful and provided a nice service. This material would have simply become trash if thrown away, but it turns into such a wonderful countertop! If you make a nice presentation to the construction managers, they'll usually use their expertise to make it happen, so if you're planning a kitchen remodel, don't forget to ask! This countertop cover, made to fit perfectly over the sink, is usually placed over the sink to serve as an additional countertop, and is only removed when it's time to wash dishes. We've all had that experience where it's hard to fit a cutting board in a small kitchen, right? This one idea dramatically expands your cooking space. We've brought that feeling you see on social media to life in a practical way. ☑️ Dishwasher & Robot Vacuum & Microwave: We created a perfect space under the sink and installed it there. Robot vacuums are a must these days!
