I'm rooting for you! My parents-in-law were staying over at my house for the holidays. We had plenty of rooms, but they were all messy, so I thought it would be better for them to sleep in the baby's room, so I quickly decorated the baby's room. I agonized over whether to do this or that, and after much deliberation, I realized that my 8-month-old daughter needed a space to crawl, explore, and play. (I used perfectionism as an excuse to procrastinate.) The Saturday before the holiday, I hastily designed the IKEA Pax furniture on the IKEA website. My husband picked it up by himself, and I asked my sister's boyfriend for help. I finished the assembly. I'll upload a video of the reorganization later! I focused on the placement of the bed and wardrobe, the largest pieces of furniture, and once I arranged them according to plan, the other furniture fell into place without any problems. I even created a baby photo zone in one corner! As they grow, they'll need more play and learning spaces, right? The baby's room is finally starting to feel a little more stable, but it's still unfinished and a work in progress. (The closet doors, rails, etc. haven't been installed yet.) The baby's room is now somewhat complete.
