I was impressed by the way the system shelves were used to naturally divide the space, leaving the view open without blocking it like a wall. The open System 000 shelves didn't feel cramped, but they clearly divided the living room and kitchen. I thought this was a truly clever kitchen layout. I also liked how one wall was boldly organized into a built-in closet, with cabinet space in the middle to neatly hide appliances and storage. The open layout, with only the necessary areas open, created a much more sophisticated look. I realized this is the sense of stability that an organized kitchen layout can provide. For a kitchen connected to the living room, I saw firsthand that simply creating a boundary with shelves or cabinets, rather than a wall, is quite beautiful.
