Since the tumbler's interior is made of stainless steel, abrasive is a must, not an option. 1️⃣Dip a paper towel in oil and use a long chopstick to wipe the inside. 2️⃣Add a spoonful of baking soda and wipe it with a damp sponge. 3️⃣ After rinsing once, add a spoonful of citric acid. Place the bottle in boiling water and let it sit for 10 minutes. 4️⃣ Discard the citric acid, wipe it with dishwashing detergent, rinse it, and then turn it upside down to dry. I was told that the Thermos tumbler I purchased could skip the abrasive removal step, and while it didn't actually come out, it still makes me feel better as a mom to do it this way. 🤓 Daughter!
