Actually, when I first moved into this house, I found the old-fashioned long veranda stretching from the master bedroom to the storage room quite odd. 🏠 Remodeling a pre-fabricated apartment can be quite a challenge. But I didn't give up and completely redesigned the structure! ✔️ I expanded the living room to create a spacious playground for the kids, ✔️ I installed a sliding door on the master bedroom side for insulation and efficiency. ✔️ I completely closed off the wall on the storage room side and transformed it into a separate laundry room! ✔️ I boldly removed the door in the room off the kitchen and installed a welcome curtain. It looks much prettier and makes the flow more convenient. 🎀 Here's how I solved the challenges that kept me up at night. 👇 1️⃣ Sash Concerns: Since removing the exterior sash wasn't possible, I opted for a "sash window" instead. I was worried, but it's so perfect and warm that I'm amazed every time I look at it. 🤍 2️⃣ Low ceilings: I was worried a ceiling fan would look stuffy, but the slim design of the "Rosler" makes it even more comfortable. 🌬️ (The ceiling fan is truly a godsend!) 3️⃣ Clean and tidy: Even the TV is tucked away, making it look completely clean. After work, at 11 p.m., I just turn on the lights in this spacious living room and my real day begins. 🌙 Many of you are probably feeling overwhelmed while preparing your interior design.
