#전셋집업그레이드 The faded, old intercom and boiler control panel, common in rental villas, 😭 I use both frequently, but I don't want them to be visible, so after much thought, I made this intercom cover! I looked at a lot of products, but some of them didn't quite fit my needs: the built-in handset, so the bulkiness wasn't ideal; others, like the boiler, were too big to cover; others, like the wall rail, would be cumbersome! Anyway, there was no solution. 😂 1. Covering it with fabric seemed the most convenient. 2. Considering the intercom receiver, I needed something a bit bulkier. 3. A lightweight shelf would also create some decorative space! ...and that's how I ended up making this! I bought a Kokopin shelf of the right width, and I used the leftover paint from painting the table to create a unified look. I installed the shelf as close as possible to the intercom, ensuring it could support not only the Kokopin but also the intercom's weight. I found a custom-length balance curtain, attached it to a flexible wire, and then wrapped it around the shelf, tying it to the bottom (this was a bit of a hassle), securing it in place.
