At the Yiyayia and Friends Dosan branch cafe, they gave me a truffle scented oil to drizzle on my truffle pasta. Seeing how the flavor was so vivid with just one drop, I thought, "Ah, so this is how it's supposed to be used." Since then, I've been experimenting with adding different oils to complement the finishing touches of my cooking. Basil-flavored oil for my regular kebabs, truffle for my white ragu pasta, lemon and garlic-flavored oil for my Hawaiian shrimp. The subtle addition of a touch of flavor naturally elevates the dish.
