I'll show you how my once-plain, plain house transformed with just a few simple touches: props and furniture placement :) You can make it look beautiful without major renovations! ✨ 🖼️ 1. Kitchen: A Bold White & Red Transformation At first, it was a typical, plain kitchen. (You can tell by the before photo, right? 😂) • Accent Color: I used red sheeting on the lower cabinets to create a bold pop of color. • Decoration: I added cute postcards to the plain upper cabinets and laid down a mid-century modern checkerboard rug, transforming the space into a completely new space. • Lighting: I added pendant lights for a warm atmosphere, creating a kitchen perfect for cooking! 🛏️ 2. Bedroom: Cozy Striped Mood The bedroom is all about rest. • The Power of Fabric: I replaced my bedding with cool blue stripes and added a vintage mini desk next to the bed to create my own little journaling space. • A Spoonful of Wit: The cute Wallace and Gromit mat at my feet makes me feel good every time I look at it. 🛋️ 3. Study: Cozy Wood Feel I filled the empty study/multi-purpose space with my favorite combination of wood and blue. • Semi-circular Table: A semi-circular table, rather than a square one, creates a more flexible space. A single Banker's Stand exudes a reading room vibe! • Color Matching: A deep blue rug creates a calm yet sophisticated mood. 🚪 4. Entryway: The magic of changing first impressions I didn't leave the hallway-style entryway untouched. • Blue Carpet: Blue tones were integrated into the entryway, creating a sense of unity. Scented candles and small items were placed on wooden shelves, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
