🍳 Kitchen: Between White and Wood, a Chic Spoonful of Black The kitchen, the heart of the home, has a slightly different mood from the other spaces. We maintained a warm wood tone and clean white base, but used black items as accents to create a more organized and calming atmosphere. In contrast to the vibrant colors of the living room, we chose black chairs and pendant lights for the dining area. The linear black silhouette surrounding the round white table definitively sets the overall weight of the kitchen, doesn't it? Ivory blinds with a hint of red added a touch of brightness to the kitchen, which could otherwise appear dark. Efficient storage was also a priority, with a wall pocket on one wall of the kitchen for frequently used items. This house is a 20-year-old villa, so remodeling before moving in was essential. However, instead of remodeling the kitchen, we opted to just add storage space.
