The space next to the kitchen in my new home originally had an alpha room, but the previous owner had expanded it. However, I wanted to separate the existing alpha room from the kitchen. After much deliberation, I decided to use the storage unit as a partition to separate the space! It was actually a sophisticated ploy to acquire the Eames storage unit, which had been on my wish list for a long time. Since it was meant to be a partition, I needed storage that looked good from the front, side, and back. Now that I actually have it, I'm really impressed with the colorful plywood on the back, and the wood-toned countertop complements the existing built-in storage unit.
