There used to be a great tip for squeezing vegetables with a potato masher, but that was just as difficult because you had to press down on it. After much deliberation, I purchased Fludic's Vegetable Squeezer. You just put the vegetables in, press down, and it automatically removes the moisture. It's incredibly convenient. It looks small, but it's the perfect size for bulk side dishes. You can do other things while the moisture is being removed, making cooking easier. I highly recommend this product.
