I'm not the type to be particularly sensitive to the seasons, but on days like this, I find myself wanting to do something extra. Instead of envy, I cracked open macadamias, and replaced the ear-opening drink with whiskey. I prepared a table of five-grain rice and boreumnamul (Korean spring vegetables) prepared by my mom. There's someone in my house who says, "A table without meat isn't a table," so I added even buljok (Korean radish)!
