I should've done it sooner! My once dull, gray veranda has become so bright. It's so comfortable to walk in and out barefoot without slippers! 🥹 The gaps between the tiles are sealed, making maintenance a breeze! I'll share some tips I learned while doing deck tile installation myself! 1️⃣ Don't measure the number of deck tiles you need! You don't have to draw them out like I did... If you go to a deck tile company's website, there's a deck tile calculator! Just enter the length and width of your veranda and it'll tell you how many you need. (I'll probably use this feature later...) 2️⃣ Be sure to check the set contents when ordering! These deck tiles are sold in two packages: 36-piece and 9-piece. Don't just blindly buy multiple sets of 9-pieces. 🥲 Buy the larger 36-piece set first, and then fill in the remaining 9-piece sets as needed. :) ✔️ For example, if you need 45 pieces, • 5 sets of 9-pieces 🙅🏻 • 1 set of 36-pieces + 1 set of 9-pieces 🙆🏻 (This is cheaper!) 3️⃣ Wash the white gravel before laying it out. 🚿 When I opened the bag of white gravel that arrived, there was quite a bit of white powder flying around.
