My first impression was that it was lightweight and pretty! This is the first rug I've ever seen that feels so sturdy despite being so light. The dense loop weave provides durability that won't easily sag, and despite its thinness, it offers a soft, cushioned feel. The polypropylene material is impermeable to liquids, making it resistant to everyday stains, making it perfect for everyday use. Being a house with children, we occasionally spill milk or water, but it's not only impermeable, but also easy to wash, which is a huge plus. 😉 The fact that it's washable and lightweight makes it easy to wash and dry at home is a godsend! For rugs that need to be laid out every day, it's best to choose something easy to maintain, rather than something that's just plain pretty. The deep charcoal color and wide striped pattern perfectly complement our home, which boasts a lot of black furniture. It creates a calm, modern mood.
