Our wooden table. My younger brother bought it for a lot of money when he was rearranging his furniture, but he asked if we wanted to keep it, saying it was a waste to sell. It was so heavy and large, we worried a lot about whether it would fit our home. It was quite far away, so we had to haul it in two cars to save on delivery fees. When it first arrived, it was such a contrast to our decor that I was in a state of constant annoyance for a day and a half. I couldn't just throw it away. The next day, a friend happened to be visiting, and he suggested we put it in the study. So we struggled to move this large, heavy table. It's amazing how furniture can change the mood depending on where you put it. We found a perfect spot for it.
