24 Pyeong Kitchen Dining Room Interior | Turning a Small Room into a Dining Room Since this is a 24 pyeong (approximately 800 sq ft) building, the third room is located in the corner of the kitchen and is very small. There's no room for a bed, and if I were to use it as a closet, it would be too smelly. More importantly, if I were to use this as a bedroom, there would be no room for a dining table in the cramped kitchen. So, I removed the door and, like the open-plan kitchen I'd always dreamed of, I turned it into a dining room. Since moving into this building, I've only expanded it, leaving the molding and doors untouched with just a touch of paint.
