My kitchen is spacious, but the sink is small and feels cramped. I considered getting a custom sink, but the cost was a concern, and I thought it would be a waste if I were to remodel the kitchen later. The pre-made island was an awkward size, and I thought it would be difficult to dispose of later. So I found a solution. I custom-sized a drawer cabinet, and I'm using it as an island. It increases my storage, and makes my cooking space much more convenient. I can move it to another space later, so it's a very satisfying choice for my family.
