Since my apartment was built with one small room and a single space used as a bedroom and living room, the most important thing for me was "clear spatial separation." I wanted the sleeping area to be completely focused on rest and relaxation. Rather than simply erecting a partition wall, I installed a double-sided magazine rack that doubled as a partition. Above that, I added a kitchen partition to clearly delineate the bed and living space. To avoid the view becoming too narrow, I added a slatted partition at the front. I wanted a sense of openness while maintaining a clear separation, and I think it turned out just right. The overall base was oak-toned furniture, which evokes a sense of weight and warmth. I paired this with stainless steel and a calming deep green. However, I was concerned that combining the oak with steel could have made the space feel too heavy and dull. So, I laid a wide, bright ivory-colored rug on the floor. To maintain the overall oak tone, a wood living room cabinet with tembaboard details was placed against the opposite wall. Indirect lighting was installed behind the picture frames to create a soft, gallery-like atmosphere. Since I enjoy listening to music, a Geneva Classico was placed next to the living room cabinet to maintain the overall atmosphere. #ConstructedApartment #원룸 #투룸 #공간분리 #미드센추리
